Introduction:  Dr. Ayesha Aziz is a highly skilled scholar with 3.5 years of postdoctoral experience and introduced to Shanxi University as an overseas high-level talent. Dr. Ayesha has dedicated her career to doing advanced scientific research in the field of nanomaterials to be employed in electrochemistry. She has graduated from School of Chemistry and chemical Engineering, Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST) in 2019. She has published many articles in well-reputed international journals including Journal of Hazardous Material, Biosensors and Bioelectronics, Analytical Chemistry, ACS Applied Materials and Interfaces, Advances in Colloid and Interface Science, Sensors and Actuators B: Chemical, Chemical Engineering Journal. Through her research work, she has gained extensive expertise in synthesizing 2D materials and developing (bio)sensors. Additionally, she has led numerous research and development initiatives focused on nanomaterials-based sensors. Her main research interests include fine nanomaterial synthesis, improvement of the synthesis pathways, development of multifunctional metal oxides/hydroxide materials, and flexible electrodes to be used as sensors.
